Cycling: Tenerife is popular cyclists paradise. With the breath-taking scenery, challenging hills and excellent roads, travelling by bike is one of the best ways to explore the island. Read more here.
Hiking: There are hikes of all terrains here in Tenerife whether you’re interested in mountains or the coastline, there really is something for everyone. With lots of culture, nature, and wildlife be sure not to forget your camera! Read more here.
Climbing: Our guest house isn’t far from Arico (the centre of rock climbing in Tenerife). In Arico you’ll find a wide range of grades and extensive bouldering. A two minute walk from our guest house there is also an outdoor climbing wall. Read more here.
Surfing: There are a number of great surf spots and surf schools dotted around the island.
Kite/Wind surfing: Tenerife is known as one of the best places in Europe for kite/wind surfing, and international competitions are held here each year.
Scuba diving: Diving in a wetsuit is possible all year long here. Tenerife is known for good cave diving, but also the chance to see manta rays. There are also many highly-rated dive shops on the island.
Canarian food is simple and delicious. Whether you're served grilled meats or seafood there is always an emphasis on freshness. Granadilla de Abona is an ‘undiscovered’ foodie heaven. With a number of highly-rated, authentic Canarian restaurants that typically only serve Tenerife locals; meaning the prices are low, but the quality is very high. Within a five minute walk of our guest house you will find some of the best food on the island.
While you're here we also highly recommend visiting some of they many vineyards and tasting all that Tenerife has to offer.
